Jazzmyn and Nevaeh

GRT was able to catch up with Jazzmyn and Nevaeh, an unstoppable mom/daughter duo who are becoming a big part of the moto community. Jazzmyn shared a little bit of their story and what motivates them both on and off the bike.

“We both really started getting involved with riding in the 2021 season! We were lucky that GRT started up in Colorado Springs because it was convenient and close to home for us. We wanted to meet more women and expand our skill level, and Girls Ride Toosday's were the best way to do that!

Outside of moto Nevaeh and I like to go hiking, draw, go fishing, go geocaching, shoot our rifles and go visit our family when we get the time!

Navaeh Logyn, AKA: Little Legs, was born in Glenwood Springs, and currently lives in Colorado Springs, CO.

She is in kindergarten full time, and runs a candy and lemonade stand after school to help support her racing!

For Nevaeh, moto is a huge outlet and getaway. It is a form of self-expression and has helped her find some friends more like her. Nevaeh has gained so much confidence on and off the bike.

Nevaeh’s main goal right now is to hit the big jumps. She just wants to “throw a fat whip!”

“My best dirt biking moment was either winning my first trophy in Ordway, or when I decided to pin the throttle in Pueblo and really battle one of my bigger competitors. I shaved a whole minute off my lap time!”

Nevaeh would love to spend a whole day with Jason Anderson. The girl already has a million questions for him, but she also watches his amateur home videos and learns so much from just that. He is a great influence on her, and his support on her racing this last year has already made a huge impact on her. A day with Jason would boost her confidence, and I don’t think the kid will listen to anyone except Cassidy and Jason. Nevaeh is also amazed with how Jason “floats” on his bike, and wants to “ride like that!”

Jazzmyn is a phlebotomist at Children's Hospital and is also helping with some marketing for the RMRA race series here in Colorado.

“For me, moto was also a getaway. When I had to give up horses, I bought a dirt bike and it became my best friend. When I first got my bike I was headed down a really self destructive path, and thankfully I was able to find more comfort and help in moto. The moto community has showed me how strong of a woman I really am, and all the things I am capable of! It put me out of my shell and allowed me to meet people I never thought would mean so much to me. “

When Jazzmyn can get back to riding, she also wants to have more confidence hitting big jumps to improve her racing. “I have a lot of confidence to work on.”

“My best moment on the bike was probably when I [almost] landed my first hole shot! I was so excited about the gate drop, and once I realized how fast I was going I let off right in the corner. I was the first to the corner, I was the first to the corner, but 3rd coming out of it. But it made me want to push myself more and grow my potential.”

“I would LOVE to spend a whole day with Cassidy Bickford. Hands down. Working one hour with her is night and day for me, and how she trains resonates with me well. I even learn things from her when she trains with Nevaeh! Cassidy notices the smallest things and can tailor the way she works with an individual based on what they need, which in my opinion is very important! If anyone is going to help me achieve my riding goals, it will probably be Cassidy.”
