Amanda Walsh

This member’s highlight features Amanda Walsh. Amanda has been a member and rider who is always down to give advise and help the GRT crew learn and progress. Here is a little bit more on Amanda;

“Ok, I am from Canon City, Colorado and still live there (I didn’t really have a choice to live here because I am 14…). I am a freshman in high school and I am on the varsity team for cross country, I play on a traveling girls soccer team, race mountain bikes for our MTB association, and I love skiing.

Moto has played a huge roll in my life because I have been riding sense I was 3 and racing sense I was 7. It has been the biggest focus of my life and I have put everything into racing. My favorite part of racing is meeting new people, hanging out with my friends and traveling all over the country. Most people do not understand how much I have put into racing and how much it impacts my life, even my school friends don’t always support and agree when I talk about motocross. But, at the end of the week when I get to go to the track, I know my racing friends all understand the risk and dedication it takes to race and ride. This community just makes me want to go racing more. I love taking my dog (Bananas) to the track, walking him around the Pits, and going to restaurants with my friends between motos.

I love the GRT crew and everything they do and I hope we can continue growing and inspiring other girls to come out and ride. Thank you!”
